Shaun’s love for music began in high school when his grand- father bought him a second-hand drum kit. Since then, his relentless musical drive has led him on a never-ending pursuit to master the instrument. Branching out to other percussion, Shaun is now in his final year of a Bachelor of Music degree in classical percussion, studying under Daryl Pratt and Richard Miller at Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Shaun currently drums for mahmoodkhanFunk, the band of acclaimed songwriter Mahmood Khan, and played on their recent #1 Aria single Like the River. Shaun has placed in the top three performers several times in the Billy Hyde Drummers’ Playoffs competitions. Shaun is also the drummer of the on-set band for The Matty Johns Show on Channel 7.
