Q: When is The Rock Show?
A: Saturday, October 18, 2025. Gates open at 8:30am.
Q: Where is the show held?
A: At The Rock Showground, Lockhart-The Rock Rd, The Rock NSW 2655.
Q: Is there an entry fee?
A: Yes, general admission is $10. Children 5-16yrs $2. Children under 5yrs are free.
(Note: Membership of $20 includes entry ticket for member & guest and all member's school age children)
Q: What’s on at the show?
A: A full day of fun including sideshows, rides, markets, cooking, craft, art, flowers, animals, horse and dog events, photography displays, and plenty of food.
Q: Is the show family-friendly?
A: Absolutely! There are kids’ activities, sideshows, and competitions suitable for all ages.
Logistics
Q: Is there parking available?
A: Yes, free parking is available at the Showground. Volunteers will guide you on arrival.
Q: Is the venue accessible?
A: Yes, the Showground has accessible entry points, pathways, and toilets for visitors with mobility needs.
Q: Can I bring my dog?
A: Only dogs entered in competitions are permitted on the Showground for safety reasons.
Q: Will food and drinks be available?
A: Yes! We’ll have a range of food stalls, BBQ, and local treats available all day.
Q: Do you accept card payments?
A: Some stalls may accept card, but we recommend bringing cash as coverage can be limited.

Q: Who runs The Rock Show?
A: The Rock Show is organised by dedicated local volunteers with the support of sponsors, exhibitors, and the wider community.
Q: How can I volunteer or sponsor the show?
A: We’d love your support! Please contact The Secretary Joy Schultz for sponsorship or volunteer opportunities.
Q: Where can I get updates about the show?

Exhibitors & Entries
Q: How do I enter a category?
A: Entry forms can be downloaded from our Show Program and Exhibits page or collected from The Rock Foodworks, The Rock Post Office, Uranquinty Service Station. Return completed forms by Friday 10th October to The Secretary, PO Box 29, The Rock, NSW 2655
Q: Where can I find the judging criteria?
A: Judging follows the guidelines set by Agricultural Shows Australia.
Eurobodalla District Show Society has created a Hints for Showing document that provides details of what the judges may be looking for and the link is available here. If you would like The Rock Show to create a similar document, please give that feedback to The Rock Show Committee.
Q: When do I need to deliver my entries?
A: Pavilion exhibits should be delivered on Thursday 16th October 4pm-6pm & Fri 17th October 8am-9:30. Stewards will be available to assist with registration and placement.
Unfortunately we are unable to accept any entries delivered after 9:30am 17/10/25.
Q: How do I collect my entries after the show?
A: Exhibits can be collected once judging has finished and displays are dismantled, from 4:30pm on Saturday. Please check with pavilion stewards before removing your entries.
Q: Can I enter multiple categories?
A: Yes! You’re welcome to enter as many categories as you like, provided you meet the criteria for each.
Judging & Prizes
Q: When does judging take place?
A: Most pavilion exhibits are judged before the show opens to the public. Livestock and animal events are judged throughout the day — please refer to the schedule for exact times.
Q: How are winners notified?
A: Results are displayed in the pavilion or competition area once judging is complete. Ribbons and prize money can be collected from pavilion office at the end of the day.
